Euler Hermes, the worldwide leader in trade credit insurance, has appointed Florence Lecoutre head of Group Human Resources, based in Paris and reporting to Wilfried Verstraete, chairman of the Euler Hermes Group board of management. The position takes effect June 20, 2016. Lecoutre previously served as the company’s chief information officer and succeeds Bernd Lehmann, who has become CEO of Euler Hermes Belgium, as previously announced.
As global head of Human Resources, Lecoutre will be responsible for further developing and implementing a global HR vision and strategy in support of the company’s overall business strategy and digital transformation. The position oversees recruitment, compensation and benefits, talent management, diversity strategy and best practice HR policies.
Lecoutre began her career at Euler Hermes in 1997 as head of IT for then-named Euler International in London, having previously been an IT consultant, then an in-house director of IT & Operations for Infopoint. At Euler Hermes she served in positions of increasing responsibility in the IT organization in several countries and became head of IT and board member of Euler Hermes France in 2004. In 2010 she was promoted to Group chief information officer.
Florence Lecoutre holds a masters degree in engineering and computer science from INSA in Lyon, France and is currently completing executive studies in international business management at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
