Delivering a rich digital customer experience is a priority for Euler Hermes and as part of this, we’re building a new customer portal called MyEH.

Our developers play a key role in this through Design and development, Integration and delivery and performance and monitoring.

Customer centricity is at the heart of our new portal and we use agile principles and tools to deliver value early and often.

We do this with a panel of customers through our UX Lab and feedback loops at the end of each sprint with Sprint Reviews.

Our product owners take into consideration the customers’ and developers’ feedback from the beginning of design to delivery.

When it’s time to develop, we focus on languages and software that are strongly supported by the tech community, such as ReactJS, mobX for the front, and Node JS on Koa. This stack runs on a Docker environment.

Code quality is vital, so we apply the best development practices with unit and functional tests using Cucumber and Browser Stack, and of course tests are an integrated part of the build process.

Continuous integration and continuous delivery are part of our developer’s process and by following DevOps best practices, each member can put new customer features into production, faster.

To create a seamless experience 24/7, we follow strict performance tests using Gatling to maintain the highest quality standards for the MyEH customer portal.

Our team is responsible for monitoring the application and we use Prometheus and Grafana for this.

Last but not least, Automation tests are continuously refined to maintain quality and stability of the portal throughout the delivery process.

We build MyEH by putting the customer and developer experience at the core of everything we do. – And we thank our customers and the developer community who help make it a success.
