13 APRIL 2023, Premierline is committed to working with local charities to help provide support and engagement. Our vast and diverse team are always willing to go the extra mile for local charities like Morecambe Bay Foodbank who provide a vital service to people in need in the Lancaster and Morecambe areas.
In early Q2, we committed two substantial food donations to the foodbank, one consisting of 100 easter eggs which were given out to families ahead of the easter holidays, and a second donation consisting of essential supplies such as tinned foods, dried foods, toiletries, sanitary products, cereals, sweets, chocolates and more. These donations will be used to help provide a lifeline to people in need in the local area, a problem that is only being worsened by the ongoing cost of living crisis. With more and more people in need of vital services like the foodbank, it’s more important than ever before that local businesses like Premierline recognise their social responsibility to do what they can to help.
That’s why we’ve now taken steps to provide a permanent food donation point for staff to use in our offices, making it even easier for the team here at Premierline to donate a couple of items each month from their grocery shopping.
If you’re local to the Lancaster and Morecambe area and wish to donate food to the foodbank, you can find details of all local food donation points on the Morecambe Bay Foodbank website.
